Located above the Tennis Pro Shop, our Fitness Center offers a stunning view of the tennis courts and the beautiful Banana River. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes:

On the Water

Centered around a deep-water marina capable of accommodating yachts up to 65 feet, the Eau Gallie Yacht Club is ideally located at the mouth of the Banana River in a sheltered harbor adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. With a full-time harbormaster available, members receive expert assistance with their boats and personalized guidance for planning routes to favorite destinations. Boating is at the heart of the Club’s activities. We offer safe boating instruction for both children and adults, ensuring a strong foundation for water safety and enjoyment. Additionally, the Club hosts marker parties, group boating excursions, and fishing tournaments throughout the year, fostering camaraderie and a love for the water.

Summer Youth

A Tradition of Fun, Learning, and Community

Each summer, Eau Gallie Yacht Club (EGYC) transforms into a vibrant hub for children, offering an enriching and fun-filled experience through our renowned Summer Youth Program. This cherished tradition has been a part of the Club’s offerings for years, providing a unique opportunity for children of all ages to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.

Engaging Activities

The Summer Youth Program offers a wide range of activities, including:

• Sports and Games: From tennis and swimming to team sports and relay races, there’s no shortage of ways for children to stay active and engaged in friendly competition.
• Arts and Crafts: Children can express their creativity through a variety of arts and crafts projects, making memories they can take home.
• Educational Workshops: The program includes workshops focused on environmental awareness, marine biology, and other educational topics that spark curiosity and a love of learning.

Children’s Activities include:

• Summer Youth Program (consists of tubing, kayaking, swimming, and tennis for children ages 5 through 14)
• Kids’ Craft and Movie Nights
• Youth Tennis Lessons
• Cardboard Box Boat Races

Florida Council of Yacht Clubs

Members of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club enjoy all of our Club's unique amenities and also have guest privileges at all of the 36 members of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. Members of the Council may visit any other Club by automobile or boat, have a berth for their boat with the first night's dockage free, and have charges for all Club activities billed through their EGYC account.

The Florida Council of Yacht Clubs is an organization made up of 36 yacht clubs located around the state from the panhandle to the keys. The member clubs in the Council represent a population of nearly 40,000 voters who have aided in bringing many legislative matters, favorable to the boating public, to a successful conclusion. To assist the Council in monitoring boating related legislation the Council has a legislative representative in Tallahassee, paid for by the Council. Established in 1960, the Council is a respected force recognized as a potent organization of dedicated yachtsmen.

The Council Clubs sponsor cruises on members' boats to destinations along the East and Gulf Coasts of Florida and the Bahamas. The Council has also sponsored professionally organized large ship cruises to unique locations in Europe, South America, through the Panama Canal, and many other destinations.

The Council is an active member of water oriented organizations such as the National Boating Federation. Close liaison is maintained with the U.S. Coast Guard in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami and the Corp of Engineers district office in Jacksonville. The Council publishes the "Guide to the Clubs by Land and Water." It gives directions to each club by car or boat, the types of services offered and the hours that they are available. The Guide also includes a CD containing all of the information in the book. Boaters get the first night of dockage free. Reciprocal charges are billed through their own club.
